A new page on time, wohoo! I am trying to get the hang of these hand drawn speech bubbles. I think I am getting there. Soon.

Denilou is a very absentminded. Especially when he’s in a hurry! I can’t wait until one certain point in this chapter. You will see. I am sorry about the slow paced updates. I would love to spend one entire weekend drawing like a maniac on this comic sometime, so that I can update twice a week once in a while. Would be great! Here’s hoping!

I wanted to add that chapter 3 has not been entirely proof read yet. As some of you might have noticed I am not 100% fluent with english. When I draw this comic I usually always let someone read through the storyboard to correct typos and weird sentences. If you have anything to add or correct in the beginning of chapter 3, don’t hesitate. I will get it all proofed thoroughly asap, though. Don’t worry!

Denilou walking for once!

This will be the last showcase image for a while!
I got really sick last week and managed to lose track
of my schedule on a lot of things (this comic and
work being two of them!). I hate when that happens
- out of the blue!

Anyway, so I will let the showcase stay unupdated
for a while and focus on catching up!

This page was really difficult for me. I said I was going to practice perspective and backgrounds, didn’t I? I noticed that the first and third panel don’t really match in the end (hint: the window!). I will fix that one day, promise!

Here’s a recommendation! I have finally finished reading the archives of Trying Human. It’s def. going into my links and bookmarks. I am always so fascinated by comics that are in full color and updated frequently. I fight to finish one page in ink a week! There is something about Emy’s art style that truly got to me. Like it’s an animated feature. Go read it now!

One final thing. The way to express the panting and gasping with “lines” is a tip I got from Emelie on WBK a long time ago. Thanks hon!

I have been feeling a bit tired lately – feeling like I am on the edge on getting a cold but it never kicks in (I guess I am lucky, but I hate feeling tired!). The post work on the next two pages are going a bit slow. But I am doing my best. The pages will be on time the next two-three weeks no doubt! I just need to catch up a little on my “2-3 pages a head of schedule”-plan.

Today I want to recommend a web comic that I newly added to my link list and bookmarks: Amya! The pacing is perfect both writing and drawing wise, and I love the line work. Great details on angles and backgrounds too! Check it out!

Page 1! Wow!

This page reminded me of how hard it is to draw perspective. Especially buildings on a street going downhill.
There you have Denilou! Remember him? He was first mentioned on this page and first shown on this page. This is more of a proper introduction of him, though.

I want to recommend this comic:  Darken. So much to read and such a wonderful style. I really like the full colored pages – but I am also impressed with the linework. It makes the black and white pages look great too.

My new hair style!

I will start calling these splash thingies page 00 from now on. It’s not a “real” page anyway. Which is why I update on a Wednesday this week! Wow, first time ever!

Actually, when drawing this chapter, I try to be 2 pages/weeks ahead of schedule all the time. And if I am 3 pages or more ahead of schedule on a Monday, I will post an aditional page on the Wednesday. So here is hoping for productivity this spring! This comic might be updated twice a week once in a while if we are lucky.
